Mr. Andy Brown is the Chief Investment Officer of Caravel Asset Management. Andy, supported by his team, oversees investment selection, portfolio management and risk decisions for equity, credit, and LP investments.

Andy has 30 years’ leadership experience in investment management, investment banking and corporate banking. Prior to joining The Caravel Group, Andy was the Chief Investment Officer of HakuCapital, a family office based in Hong Kong with a global, multi-asset mandate investing across the capital structure. Andy was previously the Chief Investment Officer of Pan Asia for Cheyne Capital, the Global Head of Banking Research at Morgan Stanley, and the Global Head of Emerging Markets Financial Institutions research at Deutsche Bank, where he led the analyst team across Latin America, Eastern Europe, South Africa and Asia.

Andy was ranked #1 eight years in a row by Institutional Investor, Reuters, Greenwich and other investor polls before moving to the hedge fund industry. He is a CFA charterholder and has a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech.
